Bank of America Tower Construction Moves to Concrete Foundation Phase. N. Harwood Closures Start July 23rd
The Bank of America Tower at Parkside is transitioning into the next phase of construction. Most of the excavation has reached the bottom elevation, and we are now beginning the structural concrete foundation phase. This phase will continue from now until November 2024. Dump truck traffic will begin to slow in August with concrete truck traffic increasing. Concrete trucks will be delivering concrete almost daily.
We will begin drilling and pouring concrete piers on Tuesday, July 23rd. Concrete will be placed utilizing a concrete pump truck that will be set up on N. Harwood. This operation will require a complete shutdown of N. Harwood in both directions during the concrete pours. N. Harwood will be closed beginning at 7:00 am on July 23rd and will reopen later in the day after concrete placement is completed.
This set-up and road closure will occur multiple times each week through October 2024. We are coordinating the exact dates and plan for this phase and will communicate the closures as far in advance as possible.
